June to August when temperatures regularly exceed 42°C and outdoor activity is largely impossible.

Burj Khalifa & Downtown Dubai
The 828-metre Burj Khalifa remains the world's tallest building and the centrepiece of Downtown Dubai. Book the "At the Top Sky" observation deck at Level 148 for panoramic views stretching to the Arabian Gulf. The Dubai Fountain show below choreographs water jets to music each evening.
